6. Kwali Government Area:
   - Details: Kwali rounds off the list of area councils in Abuja, ensuring effective local governance.

Each LGA has its administrative headquarters and an executive chairman responsible for managing its affairs. The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) oversees all the local area councils, with the current FCT Minister being Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, appointed by President Bola Tinubu in 2023.

In summary, the local government areas of Abuja collectively enrich the diverse and vibrant character of the FCT, catering to the needs of its residents and contributing to the nation’s capital.
